Religiously loving design

Who’s losing faith?¬† This post is dedicated to all of you, who haven’t been to church since their monthly primary school visits and to those who believe they can only find design in boutique hotel foyers.

Here is Czech designer Maxim Velcovsky, who redesigned the interior of St Bartholomew, in Eastern Bohemia and turned it into THE place to pray.

Working with designer Jakub Berdych under the Qubus Studio banner, the interior features Verner Panton chairs customised with a punched crucifix, Persian rugs and chandeliers of rough-cut crystal.

I pray for more of that.
